Most people call me Blandy. I started playing baseball when I was three years old in Oklahoma. I have lived all over the place, mostly in Canada, and have been fortunate to play baseball at very high levels. Was lucky enough to represent my country in a world championship and played university ball in Kentucky and North Carolina, and began coaching at 22. Now 26, and completely out of the game, I needed a way back in, and I figured writing about other people’s decisions as well as things I believe should be done would be a rewarding way of staying involved.

  1. What position did you play? I had friends who I played with who were on National teams too. I’m also 26 so maybe we know some similar people.

I was a pitcher. I played with a few guys from the Windsor-Chatham area over the years. Dave Corrente, Alan Cattryse and Adam Pernasilici. Maybe you know them?

      • I actually played just east of Toronto for a team called the Clarington Orioles in the OBA. Adrian Perry and Chad Roe were two guys who I know played for some National team, but I think it was the under-18 team. Chad was a pitcher who ended up getting drafted in the 37th round or some thing, but he never signed.
